About Me
Son and Desciple of Renowned Guru SMT.GEETANJALI LAL is recognized as one of the most accomplished Kathak Dancers. The splendour of his brilliant solo performance, which looks-like a motion painting, has earned him applause both in India and other parts of the world. Hailed as a bright Star in the firmament of Kathak, Abhimanyu has received acclaim as a Dazzling dancer by the media and connoisseurs of art.

He has had the Honour of performing at prestigious festivals organised by Sangeet Natak Akademi, National Institute Of Kathak, New Delhi and Indian Council For Cultural Relations (ICCR). Recently went on a concert tour to Bulgaria, Russia, Belgium, Managua, and Cuba for the Europalia Indian Festival organised by I.C.C.R.
Abhimanyu is an “A” grade artist of Delhi Doordarshan and is likewise an empanelled artist of ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations).

My Story
Abhimanyu Lal started formal schooling in Kathak, under his mother Guru Geetanjali Lal, in his young adults. He became initially eager on turning into a singer, however once he started out practicing Kathak there was no searching lower back. His hobby in music also led him to take formal education in western drumming from the YMCA in New Delhi.
Abhimanyu Lal is considered a grasp of footwork & percussion. He enjoys playing drum for traditional Kathak dance compositions and choreographies of his mother, he has additionally experimented with current dance numbers, doing collaborations with African drummers.
